📋 Description

• Develop and implement comprehensive category strategies for IT hardware, software, and services • Conduct market analysis, identify suppliers, and develop negotiation plans • Lead end-to-end procurement for complex IT projects, from requirements gathering and RFP development through contract negotiation, supplier selection, and performance management • Collaborate with IT leadership, legal, and finance to understand business needs and align procurement strategies with business objectives • Identify and implement cost reduction, process improvement, and value creation opportunities • Manage supplier relationships and conduct regular performance reviews • Drive continuous improvement initiatives with key IT vendors • Monitor market trends, technological advancements, and industry best practices in IT procurement • Ensure compliance with internal procurement policies, ethical guidelines, and external regulations • Develop and track KPIs for IT category spend, savings, and supplier performance

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Information Technology, or a related field • Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in IT procurement, category management, or strategic sourcing within a large, complex organization • Proven track record of successfully negotiating and managing high-value IT contracts, including hardware, software licenses, SaaS, and professional services • Deep understanding of IT market dynamics, key vendors, and emerging technologies • Strong analytical skills, including interpreting data, building business cases, and developing actionable strategies • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills • Ability to influence and collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders at all levels • Proficiency in procurement systems such as SAP Ariba • Advanced Microsoft Office Suite skills, including Excel and PowerPoint • Relevant professional certifications such as CIPS or CSCP are a plus
