📋 Description

• Develop, design, debug, and modify software application and tool components in an agile environment • Write automated unit and integration tests to support continuous integration pipelines • Participate in code reviews and assess code quality and flexibility • Prototype creative solutions and develop minimum viable products • Collaborate with peers to craft and implement the technical vision • Communicate and work effectively with distributed cross-functional teams • Resolve problems and roadblocks and drive issues to closure • Improve software and development processes within an agile team • Participate in user story creation • Leverage AI coding assistants for prototyping, code review, debugging, and documentation • Design, build, and maintain AI-powered product features, including LLM API integrations, RAG pipelines, and AI-driven automation

🎯 Requirements

• 6+ years of non-internship, professional back-end development experience • Deep understanding of web development and best practices • Strong organizational skills and discipline in both following and appropriately challenging conventions • Skilled with REST API development, asynchronous task management, and databases/data management best practices • Deep experience in one or more back-end frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI • Experience working with Python • Ability to rapidly prototype and adjust in response to customer feedback • Working knowledge of version control and CI/CD tools • Hands-on experience with AI productivity tools such as Claude, Copilot, and Cursor • Production experience with LLM APIs, including prompt design and context management • General curiosity and comfort navigating the evolving AI landscape • Ability to work effectively with distributed cross-functional teams • Understanding of software development lifecycle methodologies, specifically Scrum and/or Kanban
