📋 Description

• Preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements • Perform journal entries, general ledger reconciliations, and financial reports • Ensure compliance with ASPE accounting standards • Perform budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis • Run payroll processing • Supervise bank reconciliations and balance sheet reconciliations • Monitor the general ledger and ensure accurate recording of financial transactions • Perform month-end and year-end closing processes • Assist with preparation and filing of: GST/HST returns, Corporate income tax support (T2 schedules), Payroll remittances (CPP, EI, Income Tax) • Supervise and mentor accounting staff. • Review work performed by accounting clerks and junior accountants. • Provide training and performance feedback • Assign and monitor tasks to ensure deadlines are met

🎯 Requirements

• 3 to 5 years of accounting experience • Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage 50, SAP, Wave • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills • Knowledge of GST/HST, payroll compliance, and financial reporting • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
