📋 Description

• Establish and manage the risk management framework for a new independent forex brokerage • Develop risk policies and procedures • Monitor client and aggregate trading exposure • Establish risk limits • Design hedging and exposure-control rules • Manage margin and leverage risk • Implement risk monitoring and reporting procedures • Work closely with senior management, compliance, finance, operations and technology teams • Ensure the brokerage operates within its approved risk appetite and applicable regulatory requirements • Conduct risk framework development and pre-launch preparation • Manage hybrid A-Book/B-Book risk • Monitor market risk and exposure • Manage hedging risk and counterparty exposure • Manage margin, leverage and liquidation risk • Perform stress testing and scenario analysis • Conduct trading surveillance and abnormal activity risk monitoring • Produce risk reporting and support governance • Collaborate cross-functionally

🎯 Requirements

• Typically, 3–5+ years of experience in market risk, forex brokerage risk management, CFD brokerage operations or a comparable financial-services role • Demonstrable experience managing or designing risk controls for a retail forex or CFD brokerage • Strong understanding of hybrid A-book/B-book execution models and the risks associated with internalization and external hedging • Hands-on experience with Meta Trader 4 and Meta Trader 5 • Practical experience with exposure monitoring, position limits, hedging policies and concentration-risk management • Experience developing stress tests, scenario analysis, risk dashboards and management reports • Ability to build policies and procedures from the ground up in a pre-launch business environment
