📋 Description

• Contribute to the backend of an Amsterdam-based trading platform • Design system architecture and make technical decisions • Shape and own technical direction • Evolve a serverless AWS-based infrastructure • Bring structure and technical clarity to an ambiguous, dynamic environment • Collaborate with the Amsterdam-based client team • Potentially modernize existing architectures through migration, refactoring, or incremental improvement without disrupting delivery

🎯 Requirements

• Senior or lead-level experience in TypeScript backend development • Production-grade delivery experience in complex environments • Strong hands-on experience with AWS Serverless architecture • Experience with AWS Lambda and AWS CDK • Experience with DynamoDB or comparable NoSQL database solutions • Ability to design and discuss high-level system architecture • Ability to evaluate technical trade-offs and propose well-reasoned alternatives • Ability to challenge assumptions constructively and drive technical outcomes • Ability to work autonomously in ambiguous environments • Familiarity with TypeSpec or similar API specification tooling • English B2 or above • Based in Portugal and available to work fully remotely
