• Define and streamline processes, workflows, and playbooks for effective day-to-day Security Operations Center operations • Enable analysts to meet the mission and internal Service Level Objectives for response times • Work with peer regional managers to ensure consistent global operations • Provide analyst training opportunities and support career growth • Design, implement, and enforce internal processes to reduce burnout and increase operations-center productivity • Manage and enforce local/global shift coverage to maintain 24/7 operations 365 days a year • Meet weekly with analysts in 1:1s to communicate initiatives, gather feedback, provide feedback, and support career progression • Contribute to analyst training programs covering Digital Forensics, Incident Response, Malware Analysis, Detection Engineering, Threat Hunting, and Automation • Work with Product organizations to prioritize capabilities that augment analyst capabilities • Maintain routine quality assurance accountability for the designated region • Collaborate with Support on workflows for partner/customer requests requiring SOC analysis • Strengthen processes and relationships with Tactical Response, Threat Hunting, and Detection Engineering teams • Provide one level of technical leadership for SOC analysts • Communicate Huntress mission goals and objectives to team members • Provide input and guidance to Marketing, Sales, Support, and Product stakeholders • Develop, track, and report Objectives and Key Results linked to SOC initiatives • Help operationalize new technologies and services • Participate in webinar and in-person public speaking engagements
• Experience in leading diverse cybersecurity teams with various skills, including Security Operations, Digital Forensics, Incident Response, Malware Analysis, Threat Hunting, and Detection Engineering • 5+ years of Security Analyst experience working in a global 24x7 security operations center with a focus on Windows forensics • 2+ years of team lead or managerial experience in a global operations center or Incident Response role, preferably within a MSSP, MDR provider, or Incident Response service • Actively engaged in the information security community by attending conferences or contributing to conversations/projects in the public domain • Continually learning and staying up to date on the latest threat actor tradecraft, detection techniques, and security operations concepts • Ability to identify workflows and create detailed process diagrams and operating procedures • Effective communication of highly technical concepts to stakeholders of varying technical backgrounds • Demonstrated experience leading initiatives or projects requiring delegation and accountability • Data-driven approach with experience in Data Science concepts
