📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain test automation frameworks for web, mobile, and API applications • Plan, prepare, and execute functional, regression, exploratory, integration, and end-to-end testing strategies • Define acceptance criteria and refine stories with Product and Development teams, promoting Shift-Left Testing • Use AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, and GitHub Copilot to generate test scenarios, create automation scripts, produce technical documentation, mock test data, and investigate complex failures • Automate RESTful API tests, validating contracts, business rules, and system integration integrity • Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous, secure delivery and rapid feedback • Perform Root Cause Analysis of defects found in development, staging, and production environments • Collaborate with Backend, Frontend, Product, and DevOps teams to ensure product quality • Support the definition and evolution of quality metrics, test coverage, automation stability, and productivity indicators • Promote a quality culture and best practices in testing, automation, and software engineering

🎯 Requirements

• Approximately 3 years or more of experience as a QA Analyst, Test Analyst, or Software Quality Engineer • Solid experience in test automation and validation of web applications and APIs • Experience in agile environments using Scrum, Kanban, or similar methodologies • Practical command of modern test automation tools, preferably Cypress and Playwright • Knowledge of programming languages for automation: TypeScript, JavaScript, Python, and Java • Solid experience testing RESTful APIs with Postman, Insomnia, RestAssured, or Supertest • Knowledge and experience writing scenarios with BDD and Gherkin • Familiarity with Git and version-control strategies, including GitFlow, Feature Branches, and Pull Requests • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, including GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, and Azure DevOps • Ability to implement automated tests in development pipelines • Experience with functional, regression, integration, and smoke testing strategies • AI-First mindset using Artificial Intelligence tools to support productivity, automation, and quality assurance • Interest in new technologies, automation, Artificial Intelligence, and Software Quality trends • Ability to analyze complex scenarios, identify risks, investigate failures, interpret evidence, and propose solutions • Ability to work independently at the mid-level • Initiative to improve tools, processes, and testing strategies • Ability to work in multidisciplinary teams and build collaborative relationships across Technology, Product, Data, and Business • Ability to communicate technical problems clearly and objectively • Ability to document processes, report defects, and share knowledge with technical and non-technical audiences • Differentiators: performance, load, stress, accessibility, visual regression, Prompt Engineering, AI/LLM product validation, observability, monitoring, DevOps/Quality Engineering transformation, and relevant certifications such as ISTQB, CTFL, CTAL, or Scrum
