âą Contribute to project conception and study design activities âą Support proposal development for full-service and statistics-only projects âą Perform statistical analyses using SAS and R âą Develop and maintain SAS programs for data manipulation, analysis and reporting âą Create variables, perform data merges and prepare analytical datasets âą Apply appropriate statistical procedures to support project objectives âą Use advanced SAS techniques such as repeated measures, survival analysis, SAS/Graph, advanced macros or similar methodologies âą Develop tables, graphs and project deliverables âą Support scientific communication activities including conference presentations and publications âą Participate in professional activities and technical conferences âą Attend weekly BMW meetings and contribute to departmental initiatives âą Support Directors and Executive Team members with BMW initiatives âą Contribute to budgeting and scope development activities with appropriate oversight âą Adhere to departmental SOPs and quality standards âą Travel domestically and internationally as needed, approximately 5% âą Demonstrate and uphold ICON's commitment to People, Clients and Performance âą Undertake other reasonably related duties as required
âą Degree in Statistics, Biostatistics, Epidemiology, Health Economics, Mathematics, Public Health or a related quantitative discipline âą Experience working with statistical analyses and healthcare or research data âą Strong SAS programming skills, including data step programming, conditional statements and variable creation, data merges and concatenation, Output Delivery System (ODS), and statistical procedures âą Experience using advanced SAS techniques such as repeated measures analysis, survival analysis, SAS/Graph or advanced macros âą Proficiency in R programming âą Ability to develop statistical outputs, tables and graphs âą Strong analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills âą Effective written and verbal communication skills âą Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment âą Employment contingent upon having the legal right to work in the country where the role is based
