📋 Description

• Thoroughly test developed web applications against specified requirements across desktop browsers and mobile devices. • Record, monitor, and manage defects for clarity, traceability, and timely resolution. • Create and maintain manual test plans, test cases, test scenarios, manual test scripts, and defect reports. • Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to resolve issues and participate in defect triage meetings. • Track test progress against release schedules and prioritise workloads to meet deadlines. • Review test environments, test coverage, and manual QA processes to support continuous improvement. • Provide accurate estimates for manual testing efforts during project planning.

🎯 Requirements

• At least 2 years’ experience in Manual QA, including testing web-based applications, cross-browser functional testing, and strong familiarity with bug tracking and reporting applications. • Ability to create and maintain comprehensive manual test documentation, including test plans, test cases, manual test scripts, test scenarios, and defect reports. • Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to support effective web application testing and defect reporting. • Working knowledge of BDD-style acceptance criteria and test scenario writing. • Strong MS Office skills, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, to support test planning, reporting, and documentation. • Ability to think quickly, adapt under pressure, and manage tight deadlines effectively. • Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills, with the ability to work closely with developers, stakeholders, and wider project teams. • Experience working within an Agile team. • Equally adept at working on both PC and Mac. • ISEB/ISTQB Foundation Certificate in Software Testing. • Educational qualification to degree level.
