📋 Description

• Manage and oversee monthly consolidation under German GAAP (HGB) and IFRS, including intercompany eliminations, reconciliations, and reporting • Further develop consolidation logic in NetSuite • Analyze and resolve intercompany balances and FX differences between subsidiaries • Drive the preparation of annual financial statements at both group and individual-entity level • Provide support in AR and AP processes as needed • Review and post vendor bills, credit notes, and dunning runs • Support the monthly open-item review for accounts payable and accounts receivable • Contribute to internal Finance projects focused on process improvements, system enhancements, and reporting initiatives • Document and roll out new Finance processes • Manage cross-functional Finance/Operations topics • Contribute to special projects such as system implementations, chart-of-accounts adjustments, and structural changes • Support bank postings and bank reconciliations as a backup • Prepare VAT advance returns and process tax-related account corrections as needed • Report directly to the Senior Manager Accounting

🎯 Requirements

• Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Accounting, or a related field; alternatively, an IHK-certified accountant or comparable qualification • At least 5 years of professional experience in accounting, audit, or financial analysis, with a clear focus on group accounting and consolidation • Knowledge of German GAAP (HGB) • IFRS knowledge is an advantage • Experience with ERP systems, ideally NetSuite or a comparable system such as SAP or Microsoft Dynamics • Understanding of intercompany structures, eliminations, and FX valuation • Project experience is a plus • Highly accurate, pragmatic, and solution-oriented working style • Excellent communication skills • Flexibility and enthusiasm for managing multiple topics in parallel • Very good German and good English skills (B2+) are essential
