📋 Description

• Work with Instrumental’s global go-to-market team to deliver technical solutions for applications across leading electronics brands • Validate the technical scope of opportunities with sales, considering customer business goals and production-line constraints • Develop production-line understanding and standardized inspection frameworks for different line configurations • Scope solutions using Instrumental station hardware, optics, and nests, or collaborate with third-party systems integrators • Review automation architecture, assess integration risk, and influence mechanical and controls design before fabrication • Guide and mentor project teams through specification, design, development, and deployment • Ensure customer requirements and business goals are met • Serve as technical interface with customers and contract manufacturers • Explain design rationale, trade-offs, and constraints while synthesizing stakeholder feedback into robust, manufacturable solutions • Support customers in factories in the Taoyuan/Hsinchu area and elsewhere through domestic and international travel

🎯 Requirements

• B.S. in engineering (required) • Minimum 5 years of experience as a product design, process, or manufacturing engineer • Industry-specific experience in consumer electronics, AI infrastructure, automotive, or another highly related field • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, information systems, change management, system implementation, and development, new product introduction (NPI), and mass production best practices • Experience working with systems integrators on automation projects • Desire to be customer-facing, with a customer-success mindset • Demonstrated ability to succeed in a startup environment or as an intrapreneur in a larger organization • Excellent written and spoken Mandarin and English communication skills
