📋 Description

• Provide technical support to sales teams and customers on Altera's FPGA, CPLD, SoC, and design software portfolio • Conduct technical presentations, product demonstrations, and hands-on customer workshops • Understand system-level requirements and propose solutions including device selection, IP integration, and software development flows • Assist with initial design implementations, debug issues, and guide performance, power, and area optimization • Develop technical proposals, competitive analyses, and ROI justifications • Liaise between customers and Altera engineering and product development teams • Participate in account planning and strategy sessions to identify opportunities and accelerate design wins • Stay current with Altera's product roadmap, industry trends, and competitive landscape • Travel domestically and occasionally internationally to customer sites and company events as required

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field • Master's degree preferred • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a technical role, preferably in applications engineering, design engineering, or field applications engineering, within the semiconductor industry • Strong understanding of FPGA architecture, digital design principles, and embedded systems • Proficiency with HDL languages (VHDL/Verilog) and experience with FPGA design tools (e.g., Quartus Prime) • Experience with embedded processors (e.g., ARM, Nios II) and associated software development • Familiarity with communication protocols (e.g., PCIe, Ethernet, USB) and memory interfaces (e.g., DDR) • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills • Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment • Fluent in Chinese and English, written and verbal
