📋 Description

• Provide expert clinical support, education, and training to physicians, nurses, and hospital staff on da Vinci cardiac surgery devices and therapies • Provide on-site case support in operating rooms or hybrid ORs for robotic cardiac procedures • Support product setup, troubleshooting, optimal use, and compliance with clinical and safety protocols during live cases • Collaborate with the Cardiovascular Sales Manager and sales team to expand the user base and develop surgeon training pipelines • Support adoption of Multiport, Single Port, and digital solutions • Promote advanced instruments and accessories to enhance surgical performance and surgeon autonomy • Partner with internal cross-functional teams to expand use of da Vinci Surgical Systems and strengthen healthcare-facility partnerships • Conduct physician and care-team training on robotic-platform indications and proper use • Administer individualized onsite surgeon and care-team training and organize mentoring programs • Support new-site start-ups through onboarding programs and in-services • Provide ongoing education and product updates • Design and implement tailored da Vinci pathways for surgeons and surgical teams • Provide after-hours and weekend support as needed • Collaborate with sales, leadership, customer training, and business partners to execute clinical plans • Provide clinical insights to shape commercial strategy and business growth • Participate in physician education programs, workshops, and regional/national conferences • Facilitate adoption of digital solutions • Collaborate with ancillary equipment manufacturers on programmatic success strategies • Collect and communicate customer feedback to sales, marketing, and R&D teams • Stay current on clinical literature, competitive products, and evolving treatment guidelines • Assist with clinical trial support when required

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Life Sciences, or related field required • 2+ years of cardiac surgery (CVOR) experience • Experience as a Physician Assistant or First Assist • Industry experience strongly preferred • Advanced degrees or clinical credentials such as RN, PA, NP, or RT preferred • Deep understanding of cardiac anatomy, physiology, and interventional procedures • Working knowledge of typical hospital policies • Excellent communication, teaching, and interpersonal skills • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills • Ability to work in high-pressure OR/Cath lab environments • Adaptability to evolving technologies and complex procedures • Team-oriented with a commercial mindset • Willingness to travel up to 75% domestically • Candidate must live or be relocatable close to a major airport in the South Central region, such as Dallas, Houston, or San Antonio • May be required to provide current proof of vaccination against certain diseases, including COVID-19 • Some roles may be subject to U.S. export controls
