• Provide expert clinical support, education, and training to physicians, nurses, and hospital staff on da Vinci cardiac surgery, devices, and therapies • Provide on-site case support in operating rooms or hybrid ORs for robotic cardiac surgery procedures • Support product setup, troubleshooting, optimal use, and compliance with clinical and safety protocols during live cases • Collaborate with the Cardiovascular Sales Manager to cultivate a training pipeline of new surgeons and expand the user base • Support adoption of Multiport, Single Port, digital solutions, instruments, and accessories • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to expand da Vinci Surgical System use and strengthen healthcare-facility partnerships • Conduct physician and care-team training on robotic-platform indications and proper use • Administer individualized onsite surgeon and care-team training and organize mentoring programs • Support new-site start-ups through onboarding programs and in-services • Provide ongoing education, product updates, recurring care-team training, and tailored da Vinci pathways • Support after-hours cases and weekends as needed • Partner with sales, leadership, customer training, and business teams to execute clinical plans and achieve system autonomy • Provide clinical insights to the commercial team to shape strategy and drive business growth • Participate in physician education programs, workshops, and regional/national conferences • Facilitate adoption of digital solutions and collaborate with ancillary equipment manufacturers • Collect and communicate customer feedback to sales, marketing, and R&D • Monitor clinical literature, competitive products, and evolving treatment guidelines • Assist with clinical trials when required
• Must live or be relocatable near a major airport in the Northeast region, such as Boston, Philadelphia, or New York City • 2+ years of experience in a cardiac-related clinical role • Cardiac surgery experience preferred, or electrophysiology or interventional cardiology experience • Experience as a physician assistant or surgical nurse combined with medical device industry experience strongly preferred • Bachelor's degree required, preferably in nursing, life sciences, business, or a related field • Advanced clinical credentials such as RN, PA, NP, RT, or other relevant clinical certifications preferred • Deep understanding of cardiac anatomy, physiology, and interventional procedures • Working knowledge of typical hospital policies • Excellent communication, teaching, and interpersonal skills • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills • Ability to work in high-pressure OR/Cath Lab environments • Adaptability to evolving technologies and complex procedures • Team-oriented with a commercial mindset • Willingness to travel up to 75% domestically • May be required to provide current proof of vaccination against certain diseases, including COVID-19 • Must satisfy applicable U.S. export-control requirements, including possible export-license or Technology Control Plan requirements
