📋 Description

• Handle, log, classify, and track incidents and requests related to clients’ network infrastructure • Perform initial triage of connectivity failures, outages, latency, packet loss, and service degradation • Conduct basic diagnostics using tests, queries, logs, alerts, and information from network equipment • Analyze interfaces, IP addressing, MAC and ARP tables, routes, utilization, errors, and other evidence in accordance with procedures • Support the configuration and maintenance of routers, switches, and other network equipment under technical supervision • Execute standardized procedures and low-complexity changes, following validation requirements, implementation plans, and team guidance • Open, update, and track tickets, maintaining clear records of evidence, actions taken, and results achieved • Engage analysts, clients, carriers, and vendors in accordance with escalation procedures and defined SLAs • Monitor maintenance windows and support validation testing before and after changes • Keep documentation, diagrams, inventories, procedures, and knowledge bases up to date • Participate in training, technical reviews, and knowledge-sharing activities • Identify recurring incidents and communicate risks or improvement opportunities to the team

🎯 Requirements

• Solid foundation in networking, an analytical mindset, and a desire to develop professionally in Internet service provider and carrier environments • Fundamentals of TCP/IP networking, the OSI and TCP/IP models, IPv4, IPv6, and subnetting • Basic knowledge of switching, including VLANs, trunks, MAC tables, STP, and link aggregation • Basic knowledge of static and dynamic routing, particularly OSPF and BGP • Ability to interpret addressing, routes, interfaces, latency, packet loss, and availability • Familiarity with ping, traceroute, MTR, nslookup or dig, and SSH access • Basic knowledge of configuring and querying network equipment through the command line • Basic knowledge of DNS, DHCP, NAT, SNMP, Syslog, and Linux • Strong verbal and written communication skills, organization, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn • Availability to work shifts, on-call rotations, or scheduled maintenance windows • Proven experience in network operations, support, or management, preferably in ISP or carrier environments • Practical experience configuring equipment, troubleshooting connectivity, and supporting change activities • Previous experience, an internship, or work experience in a CGR, NOC, technical support, infrastructure, or telecommunications environment is a plus • Experience with ISP networks or Huawei, Nokia, Cisco, Juniper, MikroTik, Datacom, ZTE, or FiberHome equipment is a plus • Introductory knowledge of MPLS, PPPoE, RADIUS, BNG/BRAS, CGNAT, OLTs, or access networks is a plus • Familiarity with Wireshark, tcpdump, Zabbix, Grafana, Git, Python, Ansible, or automation is a plus • Introductory courses or certifications in networking, Linux, telecommunications equipment, or related fields are a plus
