📋 Description

• Act as an intermediary between shippers and carriers to facilitate transportation of goods • Coordinate transportation of goods and assign loads to drivers • Ensure timely deliveries and pickups • Monitor shipments using tracking software and provide accurate updates to customers and the internal team • Identify qualified carriers and negotiate rates • Provide all documents needed for deliveries and pickups • Monitor shipments from start to finish or hand off to a teammate at the end of the shift • Answer carrier and customer questions and follow up with the on-call manager when assistance is needed • Maintain responsibility, time awareness, and effective communication under pressure

🎯 Requirements

• 2-4 years of trucking, freight brokerage experience with basic knowledge of the trucking industries • Ability to work after-hours • Experience with broker loads
