📋 Description

• Prepare accurate and timely statutory financial statements in compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulatory requirements • Govern balance sheets and engage BPOs in preparation for financial statements • Ensure financial statements comply with company policies and procedures • Liaise with local country advisors on application of local GAAP • Liaise with the Jazz Corporate Group Accounting team • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and BPOs to gather financial reporting information • Act as the main point of contact for external auditors during statutory financial statement audits • Provide requested information to auditors accurately and on time • Maintain thorough documentation supporting financial statements and accounting processes • Identify and implement process improvements and best practices • Proactively participate in accounting projects to improve financial reporting efficiency and effectiveness

🎯 Requirements

• Strong understanding of accounting principles and standards • Prior BPO management experience • Prior audit management experience • Continuous process improvement track record • Enthusiastic, positive professional attitude with integrity and reliability • Effective communication and interpersonal skills • Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and meeting deadlines • Ability to analyze information and present it in a format that is easily understood by the audience • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work well under pressure • Excellent written and verbal skills • Self-motivated and ability to work independently • Bachelor or master's degree in Finance or Accounting, and/or professional accounting qualification (ACA/ACCA) preferred • At least 7 years post-qualification experience • More than 3 years of experience with statutory financial statements • Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA, Blackline, Oracle, or Workiva advantageous • Solid knowledge of IFRS and US GAAP • Knowledge of local EU GAAP advantageous • Data and Reporting expertise advantageous • Prior experience with European Statutory Reporting advantageous • Knowledge of XRBL tagging advantageous
