📋 Description

• Understand which features drive vehicle prices and predict future values • Design and deploy AI/ML solutions that process, link, and enrich automotive data at scale • Apply LLMs, text and data mining, and classical machine learning to detect anomalies and interpret vehicle data • Conduct advanced model evaluation and optimization • Manage controlled rollouts of data changes from testing and approval through post-go-live monitoring • Document preprocessing logic, quality rules, validation results, and change records • Lead and manage complex end-to-end data science projects • Collaborate with technology and engineering teams to improve processes and build new ones • Work with the product team to develop analytics for new products • Use Python and SQL for advanced data manipulation • Apply Snowflake as an AI data cloud platform • Create Tableau visual reports summarizing findings and providing transparency on data pipelines • Conduct ad-hoc data analysis and reporting • Build machine learning models that go into production and directly impact core automotive data products

🎯 Requirements

• At least 8 years of professional experience with a Bachelor’s degree or 6 years with a Graduate degree overall • 4+ years of working with large and complex datasets in structured, semi-structured, and unstructured formats • 4+ years of applied Python programming for data science • 4+ years of working with database software such as MS SQL, Snowflake, or MySQL • Hands-on experience with advanced AI/ML methods in data processing • Ability to communicate technical processes to a lay audience • Experience presenting analytical findings to internal stakeholders • Fluent in English • Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the country where employment is offered • JD Power does not provide employment sponsorship for this position
