📋 Description

• Executive leadership of Sydney’s road maintenance delivery • Stewardship of safety, resilience and whole-of-life performance across critical road assets • Lead major reform to uplift asset management capability, standards and culture at scale • Provide executive leadership for the end-to-end maintenance and operational stewardship of Sydney’s metropolitan road network • Accountability for a complex hybrid delivery model, including large-scale outsourced maintenance contracts • Lead the uplift of asset management practice, moving beyond compliance-based maintenance to a mature, disciplined approach

🎯 Requirements

• senior infrastructure leader with deep experience in operations and maintenance ideally within road or similarly regulated, safety-critical environments • strong asset management fundamentals and a practical understanding of whole-of-life asset stewardship • experience managing complex contracts, major maintenance programs, and performance-based delivery environments • comfortable engaging with frontline workers in high-risk environments while advising senior executives and Ministers’ offices with confidence and judgement • proven executive leader with the gravitas to reset expectations and lead a significant reform agenda
