📋 Description

• Prepare detailed technical drawings, plans, schematics, and 3D models for custom wood and metal fabrication projects. • Translate sketches, design concepts, engineering data, and project specifications into accurate, production-ready technical drawings. • Develop shop drawings, cutting lists, joinery details, exploded views, and fabrication details for woodworking and cabinetry projects. • Produce detailed fabrication drawings for pergolas, shading structures, roof frameworks, gates, doors, and steel structures. • Incorporate dimensions, materials, joints, screws, bolts, hinges, and assembly requirements. • Apply CNC machining and modeling techniques where required for woodworking and production. • Review, update, and revise drawings for design changes, project developments, and actual site conditions. • Coordinate with designers, architects, engineers, project managers, carpenters, and metal fabrication teams. • Ensure drawings are accurate, complete, and compliant with project specifications, fabrication standards, and quality requirements. • Provide technical support and clarification to production teams throughout fabrication and installation.

🎯 Requirements

• Proven hands-on experience in technical drafting, woodworking, carpentry, cabinetry, or metal fabrication. • Strong understanding of wood and metal materials, fabrication methods, and manufacturing processes. • Ability to read, interpret, and execute technical drawings, sketches, and engineering specifications. • Proficiency in relevant technical design and CAD software, such as SolidWorks, Inventor, Cabinet Vision, and TopSolid. • Experience producing accurate, detailed, and production-ready 2D and 3D technical drawings. • Hands-on experience with CNC machining and modeling, particularly for woodworking projects. • Experience in kitchens, closets, built-ins, doors, custom furniture, steel structures, or other bespoke fabrication projects. • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and technical documentation. • Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and meet project deadlines. • Professionalism, accountability, and effective communication skills. • Portfolio showcasing relevant technical drafting and fabrication projects. • Preferred: Experience with Rhino for 3D modeling and technical design. • Preferred: Experience with Grasshopper for design automation. • Preferred: Knowledge of both woodworking and metal fabrication processes. • Preferred: Experience in complex fabrication projects and on-site installation. • Preferred: Background in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, Woodwork Furniture Design, or a related field. • Preferred: Practical carpentry or metalworking experience.
