📋 Description

• Design and build AWS infrastructure and automation • Mentor engineers • Own delivery of major platform workstreams • Lead the team's adoption of AI-assisted and agentic engineering • Build CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code and self-service automation • Support Cloud Operations, Product Development, QA, Sales and IT • Work on the AWS Managed Services (AMS) Advanced-to-Accelerate migration, Amazon EKS upgrades, multi-region landing zones and networking, and AI services built on Amazon Bedrock • Measure success using DORA metrics

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years in DevOps, cloud infrastructure or platform engineering, including 2+ years leading engineers or technical workstreams • Deep hands-on AWS experience: IAM, EC2, VPC, Transit Gateway, ALB/NLB, CloudFront, S3, RDS, ECS/Fargate, EKS, Lambda, Step Functions, Systems Manager and CloudWatch • Expert infrastructure as code with CloudFormation and/or Terraform • Strong Docker and Kubernetes (EKS) experience • Strong Python and Bash scripting • CI/CD pipelines as code; Jenkins preferred • Experience with Git, Jira and Confluence • Practical, daily use of AI-assisted engineering tools and a clear view of how AI agents can safely automate infrastructure and operations • Experience with configuration management (Puppet or similar), Linux, observability tools (Datadog or similar) and incident response • Strong grasp of cloud security in regulated environments • Fluency in English and Spanish • Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience • AWS Professional certification (DevOps Engineer or Solutions Architect) preferred • Hands-on experience with Amazon Bedrock, LLM APIs, agent frameworks, RAG or Model Context Protocol (MCP) preferred • Experience with AWS Control Tower, Organizations, IAM Identity Center or AWS Managed Services (AMS) preferred • Experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL or SQL Server on AWS, and with financial services or other regulated industries preferred
