📋 Description

• Build and maintain foundational platform services including identity and access management, authorization, search, and API infrastructure • Develop tools, frameworks, and enhancements to improve developer experience across the software development lifecycle • Work with engineers, designers, and product managers to turn product and technical vision into code • Advocate for and implement modern architectural patterns • Extend existing functionality to support rapidly increasing scale • Monitor and optimize database queries for performance • Create internal tools that improve efficiency for engineers and other departments • Produce high-quality, thoroughly tested code • Perform code reviews for colleagues • Provide guidance, documentation, and support to product teams using the platform • Use observability tools to improve frontend application performance and reliability • Collaborate with product engineers on platform improvements

🎯 Requirements

• 6–10 years of experience designing, building, and supporting large-scale systems in production • Expertise in Python and frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask, Pyramid, and Django • Experience with SQL database schema design and query optimization • Experience with cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure, GCP, Docker, and Kubernetes • Experience with continuous integration and Infrastructure as Code • Strong problem-solving skills • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team • Passion for improving developer experience through tooling, automation, and documentation • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced startup environment • Experience with GraphQL, GenAI/LLMs, microservices, AI-assisted workflows, LLM-powered systems, tool-calling agents, planning/execution loops, RAG, embeddings, semantic search, or AI-powered features is nice to have
