📋 Description

• Build a robust, scalable data foundation for the installment-lending business • Develop scalable data pipelines and model reliable data structures, for example with dbt • Consolidate data from different sources and identify technical dependencies • Prepare data for reporting, analytics, and AI applications • Develop reusable and reliable data products • Structure and provide data for AI and automation use cases, taking data protection, GDPR, sensitive financial data, and secure data access into account • Work closely with Product, Engineering, Data Analysts, and Data Scientists • Translate business requirements into scalable data solutions • Take end-to-end responsibility for data products, from modeling and implementation through stable operations • Independently prioritize and drive initiatives through cross-team coordination

🎯 Requirements

• Several years of experience building and operating data pipelines, data models, or analytics engineering solutions in production environments • Practical experience with SQL and Python • Experience with dbt and Airflow • Knowledge of transformation, orchestration, and testing • Experience working with existing system landscapes and managing business, technical, and organizational dependencies • Ability to familiarize yourself with complex processes in the installment-lending business • Experience with testing, monitoring, data validation, or other mechanisms for ensuring consistent and reliable data • Understanding of the data quality, structure, and availability requirements of AI and automation applications • Ideally, experience with data protection, such as GDPR, access-control concepts, and sensitive data in regulated environments • Data product mindset: consistent, understandable, reusable, and reliable data • German language skills at C1 level or above, both written and spoken
