📋 Description

• Take technical ownership of your area, from architecture through to production operations • Define target architectures and make architecture as well as build-versus-buy decisions • Establish technical guardrails for the Java/Spring Boot and Angular/TypeScript landscape • Challenge existing solutions and evolve systems in line with market and technology developments • Work closely with Product and stakeholders, translating business objectives into technical approaches • Critically assess requirements and make dependencies and risks transparent • Evaluate AI opportunities and integrate them where they create genuine added value • Take technical responsibility for discovery and delivery, with a focus on architecture, quality, and cost-effectiveness • Maintain coding and quality standards and ensure fast, reliable releases • Identify structural weaknesses early and ensure stability, maintainability, and transparency in production • Enable developers through sparring, feedback, and shared guardrails • Provide open, clear, and inspiring technical leadership, particularly during periods of change

🎯 Requirements

• Several years of experience developing complex software systems and providing technical leadership, for example as a Tech Lead, Senior Engineer, or Staff Engineer • Strong intuition for architecture, system design, and sustainable technical decisions in established system landscapes • Experience aligning with Product and stakeholders and translating business requirements into technical tasks • Several years of experience with Java/Spring Boot • Ideally, knowledge of TypeScript/Angular • Confidence working with APIs, integrations, distributed systems, and CI/CD • Experience developing software in production-oriented environments • High standards for code quality, clear technical principles, and test coverage • Good understanding of stability, scalability, and maintainability in production • Interest in the pragmatic adoption of new technologies and the integration of AI capabilities, such as Claude Code or Copilot • German proficiency at least at a professional working level (C1), both written and spoken
