📋 Description

• Join a platform-oriented mobile team owning the architecture powering the marketplace experience inside the Kaufland app • Shape the marketplace integration into the Kaufland app through a modular, SDK-oriented architecture • Own the full feature lifecycle from concept and design through implementation, testing, release, and monitoring in the Apple App Store and Google Play Store • Debug and investigate complex issues across native code, webviews, and the web frontend • Collaborate with backend and frontend engineers across teams, areas, and companies • Work on backend services owned by the team and expand into new technologies • Shape data-driven, hypothesis-based product experiences with product managers and designers • Validate product experiences through A/B testing • Help keep the app observable, stable, and scalable in production for millions of users

🎯 Requirements

• Solid experience in Swift and/or Kotlin, with flexibility to work across both platforms • Strong understanding of modern mobile engineering practices • Experience building and maintaining projects in a modular architecture setup • Confidence navigating and debugging large, complex codebases • Systems-thinking mindset and ability to investigate problems spanning multiple layers and technologies • Backend development experience or genuine drive to learn quickly • Strong grasp of TDD principles • Commitment to clean, well-tested, maintainable code • Analytical mindset and strong ownership of software in production • Experience with observability, monitoring, and learning from real usage data • Ability to balance immediate delivery with long-term technical decisions • AI tools are a natural part of how you work and build software • Fluent English (C1) • Comfortable working in a dynamic, international environment • Bonus: Experience developing and distributing mobile SDKs • Bonus: Knowledge of cross-platform technologies, especially Kotlin Multiplatform (KMP) • Bonus: Ability to read and debug TypeScript code • Bonus: Familiarity with A/B testing concepts and correct experiment implementation, using Optimizely • Bonus: Hands-on experience with observability tooling such as DataDog
