📋 Description

• Respond to customer inquiries regarding tooling • Respond to clients' technical requests for machining complex parts • Assist in creating 2D and 3D concept and manufacturing drawings to evaluate technical proposals • Conduct CAM simulations to assess and optimize the project • Deliver internal and external presentations on tooling and the proposed machining solutions • Define special-purpose tools in coordination with specialized departments • Provide technical support to sales teams and customers • Provide technical and economic advice for selecting suppliers of special tooling • Use and maintain the technical database • Multi-day travel to visit customers, approximately 25% of the time

🎯 Requirements

• Master's degree (or Engineering degree) in Mechanical Engineering, preferably with a specialization in Manufacturing or Production Engineering, or equivalent education with additional qualified training in the same fields • 10–15 years' experience in machining and metalworking with tooling application (time studies and manufacturing processes for mechanical parts), preferably in the aerospace sector • Native/bilingual level in French • Strong spoken and written English skills (additional language is an asset: German or other) • CAM/CAD knowledge: experience with NX, AutoCAD, CATIA, HyperMILL, ESPRIT, TopSolid, SolidCAM or Fusion 360, Mastercam, Edgecam — a major advantage • CNC programming skills are an additional asset • Knowledge of clamping/fixturing devices is an additional asset • Good knowledge of MS Office • Knowledge of SAP — a major advantage • Strong team spirit and excellent communication skills • Highly autonomous in prioritizing tasks and good time management • Good presentation skills
