📋 Description

• Lead and execute product initiatives from concept to UI • Own design projects end to end, including concept, scoping, user flows, UI, release, and follow-up • Drive discovery by defining what to build, addressing user needs, and studying competitors and best practices • Collaborate with Research, Product Management, and Development to apply insights, align business requirements, and validate technical feasibility • Write clear design specifications and run design QA against design intent and the Kinsta Design System • Explain design decisions, resolve design and product deadlocks, escalate for feedback or mediation, and communicate trade-offs • Occasionally serve as Project Owner during delivery by communicating progress and coordinating releases • Develop product expertise across MyKinsta, personas, use cases, and UI-level solutions • Uphold design standards in design thinking, problem solving, usability, UX, and UI • Participate in design critique and help maintain and evolve the Kinsta Design System • Manage stakeholders, provide UX guidance, and collaborate with Research, Product Management, Development, and other teams

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience as a Product or UX Designer • Demonstrated experience shipping products and features from zero to production • Ability to carry a project fully autonomously • Experience working in a SaaS product environment • Hands-on experience across research, problem definition, ideation and facilitation, UI creation, and delivery partnership • Expert-level proficiency with Figma • Experience working with and maintaining a design system • Portfolio with at least one case study taking a project from problem statement to delivered solution, showing process and decision-making • Good understanding of front-end technologies: HTML, CSS, and JS • Working sense of technical feasibility and comfort using an Inspector • Proactivity and initiative • Professional-level English with excellent written and verbal communication skills • Bonus: experience with hosting or web infrastructure products • Bonus: experience with technical products for developers or technology-oriented users • Bonus: experience with the WordPress ecosystem
