📋 Description

• Lead programming of PLC logic, HMI/SCADA applications, and control systems for complex projects • Provide expert-level technical support for SCADA networks, PLC hardware/software, and industrial communication systems • Perform software quality checks and ensure programming standards are met • Assist with on-site commissioning, troubleshooting, and system startups • Mentor and train Level I–III programmers and apprentices on new technologies, tools, and best practices • Develop and maintain programming standards, libraries, and documentation • Oversee SCADA network administration, database management, and data communication systems • Collaborate with engineers, project managers, clients, and field technicians to meet project requirements and schedules • Support cybersecurity practices for industrial control systems • Participate in budget planning, employee development, and performance management for your team • Provide on-call support as needed for critical operational systems

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years of PLC/SCADA programming experience in water/wastewater or industrial processes • 3+ years of water/wastewater process programming experience • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field • Expert knowledge of PLC and SCADA programming software • Familiarity with IEC 61131-3 standard programming languages (ladder logic, structured text, VB scripting) • Strong understanding of industrial control systems cybersecurity • Knowledge of industrial radio configuration and troubleshooting (900 MHz radios a plus) • Proven ability to perform on-site troubleshooting and system commissioning • Strong communication, interpersonal, and mentoring skills • Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams, control narratives, and P&ID drawings • Electrical certification highly desirable
