📋 Description

• Build high-quality React Native experiences for Kraken's financial products • Work across engineering, product, and design to solve client problems • Own features end-to-end from problem understanding and solution shaping through implementation, launch, measurement, and iteration • Improve product discovery, trading experiences, and customer journeys • Work with APIs and real-time data to create responsive, data-rich mobile experiences • Make decisions about state management, rendering, performance, and architecture • Partner with Product and Design early in product development • Contribute to technical discussions, code reviews, collaboration, and product-engineering standards across Consumer Mobile • Use data and client feedback to drive product improvements

🎯 Requirements

• Strong React Native experience building and shipping meaningful production applications • Ability to make architectural and implementation decisions across a modern mobile codebase • Product-building mindset and strong product judgment • Evidence of product impact using metrics, experimentation, and client behaviour • End-to-end feature ownership from discovery through iteration • Experience with APIs and dynamic or real-time data • Effective written and verbal English communication across a globally distributed team • Proficiency with AI tools such as Cursor, Copilot, or Claude • Experience turning loosely defined product problems into features or products with measurable client impact • Nice to have: fintech, trading, crypto, payments, or financial technology experience • Nice to have: trading, investing, or financial product knowledge • Nice to have: real-time or streaming data experience • Nice to have: mobile and web experience • Nice to have: startup or small-to-medium-sized technology company experience • Nice to have: Swift or Kotlin experience • Nice to have: mobile application performance, responsiveness, and reliability experience
