📋 Description

• Facilitate clear and accurate communication between English- and Spanish-speaking individuals • Provide consecutive interpretation in medical, social service, customer care, and financial settings • Perform blended Over-the-Phone Interpretation (OPI) and Video Remote Interpretation (VRI) • Maintain professionalism, impartiality, confidentiality, and accuracy • Handle interpretation calls and queue time during eligible logged-in hours • Complete recruitment, technical verification, and client onboarding requirements before the assigned start date

🎯 Requirements

• At least six months of verifiable professional experience providing remote English-Spanish OPI and/or VRI interpretation • Advanced English fluency at a minimum C1 level • Strong spoken and written English communication skills • Native or native-level Spanish fluency • Excellent Spanish comprehension and active listening skills • Ability to deliver accurate, complete, impartial, and professional consecutive interpretation • Strong knowledge of medical, financial, and social service terminology • Understanding of patient privacy, confidentiality, and HIPAA-related requirements • Excellent attention to detail, active listening, emotional composure, and neutrality in sensitive situations • Commitment to attendance, schedule adherence, quality standards, and established operating procedures • Ability to work independently in a quiet, professional environment • Stable, reliable internet connection • Ethernet cable connected directly to router or modem; Wi-Fi is not permitted • Approved client-compatible USB headset; Bluetooth headsets, mono headsets, and built-in microphones are not permitted • Approved headset models include Logitech H390, Jabra GN series, Jabra Evolve series, Microsoft LifeChat LX-6000, Plantronics Blackwire C3220, Dell Plantronics, and HP Stereo USB Headset G2 • Intel Core i5, 6th generation or newer • Webcam with 720p or 1080p resolution • Updated Chrome, Safari, Microsoft Edge, or Firefox browser • Quiet, distraction-free work space suitable for confidential interpretation sessions • Selected candidates must complete recruitment, technical verification, and client onboarding before the assigned start date
