📋 Description

• Lead the end-to-end preparation and review of statutory financial statements for multiple EMEA entities • Manage relationships with external auditors, tax, and legal teams • Ensure timely and high-quality statutory audits • Provide technical guidance to junior team members • Review deliverables for quality and consistency • Ensure alignment between statutory and corporate reporting, including local GAAP versus US GAAP bridges • Partner with regional finance and controllership teams to resolve accounting and audit issues • Drive process improvements, automation, and standardization across statutory reporting • Support implementation of new accounting standards or corporate initiatives • Maintain controls and documentation to ensure audit readiness and compliance

🎯 Requirements

• University degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience) • 5+ years of progressive experience in statutory accounting, audit, or financial reporting within a multinational environment • In-depth technical knowledge of IFRS and local GAAPs across the EMEA region • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel • Hands-on experience with SAP or equivalent enterprise ERP systems • Strong analytical mindset and sharp attention to detail • Ability to manage multiple entities under tight reporting deadlines • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across diverse, cross-border teams • Ability to work independently and drive key deliverables in a complex, fast-paced environment • Professional accounting certification such as ACCA, CPA, or a recognized local equivalent (preferred) • Prior experience within a Big 4 audit firm or a large multinational corporate center (preferred) • Exposure to cross-border statutory audits, group consolidation, and US GAAP to local GAAP reconciliations (preferred) • Professional working proficiency in additional European languages such as German, French, or Spanish (preferred)
