📋 Description

• Own and continuously develop the backend architecture of the platform • Design scalable, reliable, and maintainable technical solutions for complex product requirements • Make architectural and technical decisions with the Head of AI and other stakeholders • Translate high-level product and business requirements into clear technical solutions • Mentor developers and support their technical and professional development • Improve system performance, reliability, maintainability, and observability • Support the product as it moves into production and scales across additional modules and business processes • Promote effective use of AI and LLM-based tools within the engineering workflow • Design complex backend solutions and decompose them into actionable tasks • Support engineers during implementation and review code • Help maintain high engineering standards across the product

🎯 Requirements

• 6+ years of commercial software engineering experience • Strong hands-on experience with Python backend development • Strong commercial experience with Node.js and TypeScript • Experience designing and implementing backend architecture for complex applications • Experience building scalable, high-load, or high-throughput systems • Strong understanding of software architecture, system design, scalability, reliability, and performance • Experience designing systems with multiple services, modules, or integrations • Strong experience with relational databases • Practical experience with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS • Experience leading developers, reviewing pull requests, mentoring engineers, and supporting professional growth • Strong problem-solving skills and pragmatic approach to architecture • Practical understanding of modern AI-assisted development tools • Upper-Intermediate English or higher • Nice to have: Healthcare product experience • Nice to have: Redis or similar caching and data-processing technologies • Nice to have: AI-powered products, automation platforms, or agent-based systems • Nice to have: Distributed systems using Python
