📋 Description

• Provide one-to-one online Navajo language tutoring via Zoom • Deliver 10 total hours of instruction, with one-hour sessions • Teach a 65-year-old beginner-level student • Schedule sessions once per week on Sunday at 8 AM, Saturday at 8 AM, or Wednesday at 12 noon Australian Eastern Standard Time, subject to flexibility • Support the student's goals related to Native American cultures, WWII code talkers, and learning Diné Bizaad • Participate in an interview and submit required application materials

🎯 Requirements

• Be a native Navajo speaker and/or hold a relevant teaching qualification • Experience as a language teacher, translator or interpreter • Comfortable teaching online • Own device/computer at home • Access to a quiet space • Reliable, fast internet connection/fast broadband connection • Headset • Webcam (essential) • Available for the client's schedule or provide alternative availability • Submit a CV with references, if available • Submit availability and earliest possible start date • Must be over 18 years old
