📋 Description

• Close accurate books for all entities by the 12th business day • Complete and review the monthly financial checklist • Reconcile all bank, loan, escrow, and intercompany accounts monthly • Complete monthly GL account audits for utilities, taxes, insurance, and maintenance • Perform quarterly multi-entity consolidation and standardization of financial reporting • Record property sales correctly in QuickBooks Online and balance escrow • Prepare quarterly investor reports for all funds • Prepare monthly reporting for one fund • Manage partner and member capital accounts, including contributions, distributions, allocations, and roll-forwards • Execute fund and investor distributions and upload them accurately to the portal • Administer the Agora investor portal, including blue sky notices, acknowledgment forms, and capital call tracking • Respond to investor and lender questions about fund financials • Execute mortgage PITI and long-term debt payments on time • Investigate escrow anomalies and manage reserves, insurance, and tax administration • Provide monthly cash flow forecasts and rent and utilities review reports • Update dashboard cost basis fields • Pay vendor bills on time with duplicate and fraud checks • Process payroll taxes and management fees • Manage the digital mailbox • Complete year-end cleanup, audits, tax packages, 1099s, reimbursements, transfers, K-1 support, and allocation reviews • Prepare audit schedules and respond to auditor inquiries • Set up new entities with charts of accounts and banking • Manage entity-level compliance, state filings, registered agent matters, and dissolutions • Handle disposition accounting, final fund returns, lender support, and partial release documentation • Review and update accounting SOPs and playbooks quarterly • Identify and implement accounting process automation • Meet KPI scorecard deadlines and provide timely communication on delivery risks

🎯 Requirements

• Hands-on multi-entity consolidation with intercompany eliminations • Built and reconciled partner or member capital accounts • Investor reporting to outside limited partners or an equivalent external reporting audience • 5+ years in fund, investment, or real estate accounting • US GAAP financial statement preparation • Mortgage debt administration: PITI, escrow analysis, reserves, and servicer relationships • QuickBooks Online • Advanced Excel or Google Sheets • Professional written and spoken English • Available during CST business hours • CPA or equivalent local certification preferred • Single-family rental or residential real estate portfolio experience preferred • Fund liquidation or entity dissolution experience preferred • US partnership tax exposure, including Form 1065 and K-1s, preferred • Investor portal administration, such as Agora, and securities compliance support preferred • G-Accon or comparable reporting sync tools preferred • Experience working directly with an outside CPA firm and auditors preferred
