📋 Description

• Build predictive models for lead generation, demand forecasting, residual value forecasting, portfolio steering, and fraud detection • Redesign customer service and other workflows using RAG and agent-based generative AI solutions • Integrate AI solutions securely into company systems • Evaluate generative AI output quality • Build and operate ML pipelines on AWS and Snowflake • Monitor model performance, drift, and cost; determine when models require retraining or retirement • Translate business needs into measurable use cases with stakeholders and the data engineering team • Own delivery end to end • Evaluate new models and frameworks • Establish shared standards and tooling • Mentor junior colleagues as the AI team grows • Address responsible AI concerns including data privacy, bias, and explainability

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years in Data Science, Machine Learning, or AI Engineering • At least one solution taken into production and operated there • Strong in either predictive ML or LLM applications, with hands-on experience in the other • Very good Python and SQL • Experience with ML frameworks such as scikit-learn or PyTorch • Sound experiment design and model evaluation • Experience deploying and operating ML solutions on AWS, including tools such as SageMaker, MLflow, Docker, and CI/CD • Experience with Snowflake or a comparable data platform • Practical experience with RAG, tool calling, and agentic workflows • Experience evaluating LLM output quality • Daily use of AI coding tools such as Claude Code or GitHub Copilot • Ability to make and defend design decisions • Ability to guide other engineers and explain trade-offs to non-technical colleagues • Fluent English • Conversational German or Dutch is a nice-to-have • Experience with process redesign, leasing, subscription, or other asset-based businesses is a nice-to-have
