📋 Description

• Structure and evolve the data ecosystem of a credit fintech. • Serve as the team’s technical point of reference, working closely with BI, automation, and business teams. • Design, implement, and maintain scalable data pipelines, ensuring reliability, performance, and traceability. • Orchestrate pipelines with Apache Airflow, managing dependencies, retries, alerts, and failures. • Structure and evolve the analytics environment using a layered architecture (bronze, silver, and gold) on AWS. • Use Python and SQL for data transformation, validation, and analysis. • Ensure data quality, integrity, and governance at every stage of the pipeline. • Integrate data from transactional databases, CRM systems, workflow management tools, and NoSQL databases for use by BI and business teams. • Apply AI throughout the data lifecycle, including code generation and review, documentation, and testing. • Conduct code reviews and promote data engineering best practices.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of solid experience in data engineering, including building and maintaining production pipelines. • Advanced knowledge of Python and SQL. • Experience in data architecture and modeling. • Experience orchestrating data pipelines with Apache Airflow. • Knowledge of cloud platform services, with a focus on AWS (e.g., S3, RDS). • Experience with transactional databases, APIs, and business tools (e.g., CRM and workflow management platforms). • Use of AI as a work tool, including creating and using agents, skills, and SDD (Spec-Driven Development). • Proven experience with data quality, governance, and reliability. • Previous experience with financial products or fintechs. • Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes. • Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD). • Experience with Agile methodologies. • Familiarity with BI tools for data consumption (e.g., Metabase). • A proactive, ownership-driven mindset in structuring and evolving the data function. • Autonomy to identify problems, propose solutions, and execute them. • Strong communication skills with non-technical teams, translating data into business decisions. • Flexibility to adapt technical solutions to real business needs. • Comfort with ambiguity and limited structure, typical of teams and functions under development. • Hands-on expertise in Python and advanced SQL, Apache Airflow, AWS, and the use of AI as a work tool (agents, skills, and SDD) is essential.
