📋 Description

• Oversee the design, development, and implementation of new software systems and enhancements to existing systems • Lead by example through hands-on coding and ownership of critical features and core systems • Contribute to problem definition and solution design amid evolving requirements • Foster a creative and cohesive team capable of delivering complex software projects • Coordinate with scrum masters, project managers, and software engineers to plan, design, develop, test, and maintain cloud, web, mobile, and desktop applications • Ensure software engineering projects are delivered on time and to agreed quality standards • Use AI tools to support development, improve efficiency, and assist with debugging and validation • Continuously improve technical knowledge and share emerging tools and AI-assisted development practices with the team • Maintain high software quality standards by establishing good practices and habits • Provide performance feedback, coaching, and career development to team members • Facilitate root cause analysis and support resolution of production-related concerns

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years in software development, including 3+ years in a manager-level role • Proficient in multiple languages including Java, C++, C#, Python, and JavaScript • Experience with full-stack development • Knowledge of modern architectures including microservices and event-driven architectures • Experience with CI/CD, Docker, and Kubernetes • Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming, functional programming, scripting, UX best practices, unit testing, TDD/BDD, Agile/Scrum, and database management using SQL and NoSQL • Exposure to AI-assisted development tools • Proven track record managing software products, leading teams, and delivering quality solutions on time • Excellent problem-solving, interpersonal, client management, communication, and collaboration skills • Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences • Experience with cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, and GCP • Experience with version control using Git, testing frameworks, and software security • Ability to adapt to fast-changing environments and evolving requirements • Proactive, adaptable, and professional • Understanding of system-level considerations and how technical work supports business goals
