📋 Description

• Build and evolve web applications and service layers on real-time data processing, integration, and decisioning platforms • Build REST APIs and services and the front ends that consume them • Develop React/TypeScript single-page applications • Develop Python and FastAPI services and work with JVM-backed platform APIs • Work with relational databases, charting and dashboarding, authentication, and role-based access control • Integrate messaging platforms including Slack, Microsoft Teams, and WhatsApp • Work on GenAI product surfaces including streaming LLM chat over governed data, MCP tool calling, and metadata enrichment pipelines • Collaborate with senior engineers to take prototypes into production • Use AI coding agents and custom repository skills across ticket analysis, execution, and documentation • Develop products processing hundreds of billions of events per day for enterprise customers • Collaborate with a distributed Agile team

🎯 Requirements

• BS in Computer Science or equivalent, or demonstrable equivalent experience • 0–2 years experience building web applications, with shipped work you can walk us through • Solid programming fundamentals — data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming • Proficiency in Python and JavaScript • Hands-on experience with a modern front-end framework (React preferred) • Core web fundamentals: DOM, fetch, ES modules, HTML and CSS written by hand • Experience building and consuming REST APIs • Working knowledge of SQL and relational data modelling • Experience with AI coding assistants (e.g. Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, ChatGPT) • Ability to explain, defend, and debug every line shipped and recognise plausible-but-incorrect generated code • Ability to develop and troubleshoot in a Linux environment • Familiarity with Git and collaborative code review • Ability to work with a distributed team following Agile methodologies • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills; must be a team player • Preferred: TypeScript, Next.js, Redux, or Material-UI • Preferred: FastAPI, Pydantic, or asynchronous Python • Preferred: LLM APIs, prompt engineering, context management, tool calling, MCP, RAG, or agent frameworks • Preferred: Data visualisation libraries such as ECharts, ApexCharts, D3, or Plotly • Preferred: Docker and Kubernetes • Preferred: Automated testing frameworks such as pytest, Playwright, Cypress, or Jest • Preferred: Java or Scala exposure, or willingness to learn • Preferred: Authentication, RBAC, or multi-tenant permission models • Preferred: Cloud services from AWS, Google, or Azure • Preferred: Big data or streaming technologies such as Kafka, Spark, or HDFS • Preferred: NoSQL databases • Preferred: Open-source contributions • Preferred: Jupyter, pandas, or numpy for data exploration
