📋 Description

• Build an AI assistant that answers questions across quality data, records, and documents • Build RAG with source citations, restricting retrieval to the correct tenant and authorized user data • Build document extraction services that produce validated, structured data with source references • Design data models for quality information and extracted content • Build backend services, REST APIs, and tool integrations with unit and integration tests • Co-own AI evaluation with QA and Product, including reference datasets, expected results, and release criteria • Run services in production, managing reliability, response time, and model usage costs • Champion AI adoption within the team • Mentor junior developers

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on backend development • Strong Python • LLM features delivered and operated in production, not just prototypes • Hands-on experience with RAG and/or tool calling • Experience evaluating LLM features using reference datasets, automated checks, and human review • REST API design • Experience with message buses and queues • Strong data modelling and SQL, including PostgreSQL or MySQL • Containerised services on a cloud platform • CI/CD, logging, tracing, and monitoring • Solid unit and integration testing • Mocking strategies • Secure coding • Fluent English, written and spoken • High autonomy; ability to drive own work without close supervision • Nice to have: Go • Nice to have: Experience in regulated domains, including GxP, ISO 13485, or FDA 21 CFR Part 11
