📋 Description

• Work the operations tickets and project task queue with the DevOps team • Communicate with the rest of Engineering to roll out broad changes for customers • Automate operational and server provisioning workflows using AWS CloudFormation templates • Share responsibility for deploying releases and other operations maintenance • Improve operations infrastructure, including Jenkins clusters, Bitbucket, Consul monitoring, Graphite, and Grafana metrics tools • Provide operational support for the rest of the Engineering team • Help migrate remaining dedicated hardware infrastructure to the cloud and retire hardware • Support large customer deployments involving Linux and Windows administration, enterprise applications, and big data workloads • Handle tickets, provisioning automation, and release support while learning the agent-native modernization craft

🎯 Requirements

• Conceptual understanding of version control systems, including Git branching and merging strategies • Conceptual understanding of cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, and GCP • Conceptual understanding of Snowflake • Conceptual understanding of or exposure to Maven, Gradle, and Jenkins • Must have supported Java-based applications in a production environment • Conceptual understanding of Linux environments • Conceptual understanding of Bash, Python, and Groovy scripting languages
