📋 Description

• Design and maintain a connected Schema.org graph across the site • Decide JSON-LD placement and injection strategy and defend trade-offs • Debug structured-data validation and eligibility issues at the property level • Extend the graph for AI and answer-engine visibility • Monitor structured-data health and treat markup regressions as production incidents • Own Core Web Vitals using CrUX, RUM, Lighthouse, WebPageTest and trace analysis • Diagnose critical rendering path, render-blocking resources, hydration cost, long tasks, scripts, fonts, images, caching and CDN behavior • Translate diagnoses into implementable engineering guidance and support developers through implementation and verification • Establish performance budgets and CI guardrails • Work with Next.js, React, Astro-class frameworks, SSR, SSG, ISR, CDNs, edge workers and image pipelines • Own JavaScript SEO and diagnose crawler-rendered content • Run crawl and index architecture at scale, including log-file analysis, crawl budgets, faceted navigation, pagination, canonicals, index bloat, soft-404s and duplication • Own technical SEO during migrations and replatforming • Handle hreflang, regional CDN behavior and geo-routing • Maintain indexability across gated content, headless CMS, SPA routes, programmatic pages, embedded tools, video and event content • Instrument Search Console API, GA4, server-side analytics, crawler exports and log data using SQL or Python • Build reporting that distinguishes technical regressions, algorithm updates and seasonal dips • Inform content and information-architecture decisions with technical analysis

🎯 Requirements

• A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or a closely related engineering discipline • 6+ years in a dedicated SEO role, with the majority spent on the technical side • In-depth Schema.org expertise and experience designing a multi-entity graph • Proven record guiding development teams through performance optimization using before-and-after field data • Working proficiency in HTML, CSS and JavaScript • Comfort reading a modern JavaScript framework codebase • Fluency with Git and pull-request review • Ability to write Python or SQL for data work • Experience owning technical SEO through at least one large site migration or replatform • Strong written communication • Sustained availability for daily overlap with US hours • Preferred: B2B technology or enterprise services experience • Preferred: familiarity with cloud, data or AI subject matter, including AWS, data platforms or agentic systems • Preferred: hands-on AI and LLM visibility experience • Preferred: experience building crawlers, API pipelines, monitors or scripts • Preferred: edge-compute or CDN-level SEO work with Cloudflare Workers, Lambda@Edge or similar
