📋 Description

• Champion a quality-first approach within the agile development team throughout the software development life cycle • Clarify feature requirements and system architecture during refinement • Question assumptions, uncover edge cases, improve testability, and form initial test strategies • Formalise test strategies covering scenarios, integration points, test data, and result verification • Deploy and configure updates in the QA environment • Execute test cases, identify and investigate bugs, and log clear reproduction steps • Verify complete solutions and sign off for production • Drive automation for new and existing features • Work with the QE Lead, maintain test suites, and serve as the team’s automation expert • Advocate quality and deliver functionality through testing • Onboard tools and processes, learn team and business operations, participate in career planning, and exchange feedback

🎯 Requirements

• 5–8+ years of experience as a QA tester in an Agile software development environment • Experience developing test strategies and writing test cases • Extensive back-end systems testing using REST, SQS, databases, and front-end interfaces • Strong SQL skills • Familiarity with relational database tools such as DBeaver, SQL Server, or MySQL Workbench • Experience with Git or similar version control systems • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP • Hands-on experience with Swagger, Bruno, and Postman • Experience writing and updating JavaScript scripts • Skilled in exploratory testing • Strong multitasking and reprioritisation abilities • Solid troubleshooting and bug reporting skills • Ability to positively influence software quality beyond the team boundary • Database test-data seeding, AWS EKS/RDS/SQS/API Gateway, and configuring mocks are pluses
