📋 Description

• Make key architectural decisions and translate business requirements into stable, high-performance distributed microservices architectures • Apply data structures, algorithms, and space/time complexity knowledge to build memory-efficient, event-driven components for mass messaging and e-commerce workloads • Write scalable, robust, testable, efficient, and maintainable backend code primarily in Golang, with Python workflows • Analyze code and conduct rigorous peer reviews to drive product quality and timely project delivery • Troubleshoot critical production issues and coordinate with the deployment team to streamline CI/CD code deployment • Write clean, readable code and document technical specifications, including Godoc comments and API schemas • Own features end-to-end and contribute to architectural and system design decisions • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build robust, scalable solutions for high-volume messaging and e-commerce workloads

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a highly relevant field • 10 years of professional backend software development experience within an Agile/SCRUM team environment • Experience in a product-based engineering environment, dealing with microservices, scalable distributed infrastructure, and event-driven paradigms • Deep, production-level knowledge of the Go programming language, paradigms, constructs, idioms, and common Goroutine and channel patterns • Proven experience with popular Go web frameworks (e.g., Revel, Gin, Echo) and router packages like Gorilla Mux • Experience with Go’s templating language and code generation tools (e.g., Stringer) • Experience with Go dependency management workflows • Hands-on engineering experience using Python for asynchronous backend scripting, services, or data utilities • Working knowledge of relational databases (SQL) and NoSQL environments • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a cross-functional team • Exposure to or experience with Ruby on Rails is an added advantage • Familiarity with Git and version control workflows
