📋 Description

• Integrate and maintain Justride SDKs on embedded and hardware-enabled devices • Handle fare media validation, NFC and contactless EMV taps, and barcode payloads • Build and maintain features in the Android point of sale app • Integrate card readers, NFC readers and printers • Build and maintain on-device services and integration proxies connecting to GPS and AVL systems • Contribute to cloud services supporting devices, including remote configuration and software updates • Write clean, well-tested code • Contribute to code reviews, CI pipelines, infrastructure as code, monitoring and releases • Troubleshoot device and cloud issues using logs, metrics and lab hardware • Participate in feature refinement and technical discussions • Shape technical solutions and support team outcomes

🎯 Requirements

• Based in India • Proof of right to work in India required • B2 or higher level of proficiency in English • Clear, confident communication in written and spoken English • 2 or more years of commercial software engineering experience • Solid programming skills in at least one language and willingness to learn others • Comfortable working across the stack, from cloud services to device-level concerns • Experience building or running services on AWS or another major cloud platform • Grounding in unit, integration and contract testing, Git workflows, CI/CD and Docker • Ability to work through ambiguous problems and ask for help when needed • Collaborative and team-oriented • Willingness to work a shifted pattern aligned with UK working hours as much as possible
