📋 Description

• Lead and manage the Delivery & Support team for the bank's most critical application, Core Banking • Develop and execute the technology support strategy and achieve objectives and goals • Guide and mentor the team while delivering high-quality support services • Deliver IT solutions meeting business and functional requirements • Manage the Core Banking Change Management SDLC from business requirements through technical specifications, delivery, and post-implementation maintenance • Support and manage the Core Banking system, mitigating financial, reputational, regulatory, and operational risks • Lead Core Production Support within SLA, schedule, budget, and scope parameters • Oversee testing and quality and compliance controls throughout the project life cycle • Manage a diverse team of professionals, including offshore and outsourced personnel • Lead the application and integration team and oversee governance activities, policy development, vendor selection, use case evaluation, and project approvals • Manage Run the Bank activities including stability, monitoring and control, capacity management, and incident management • Ensure agreed Service Level Agreements are achieved • Review business requirements against existing and proposed systems and recommend solution approaches • Analyze impacts of functional requirement changes on existing systems • Direct and assist development teams in verifying issue and function resolutions • Guide issue resolution and build strong functional relationships with development teams • Convert business requirements into Requirement Specifications and Functional Specifications • Manage documentation for custom configuration and parameterization of third-party solutions • Provide technical guidance and instruction to IT staff • Program manage implementation and modernization of large-scale core digital banking platforms • Ensure delivery of program strategy, responsibilities, services, and deliverables • Monitor program reporting and support reporting to senior management and stakeholders • Oversee project costs and financial management • Maintain capacity planning and resource tracking across the program • Track financial reporting and ensure adherence to agreed budgets • Manage cross-program dependencies and maintain the dependency log • Foster team cohesion and motivate members to produce quality work • Provide project planning, milestone management, scope management, and resource forecasting • Prepare regular status reports for engagement leadership • Ensure compliance and risk awareness and adherence • Obtain delivery updates from vendors, consultants, and bank teams • Escalate delivery slippages to stakeholders as necessary

🎯 Requirements

• Proven experience in cross-border team management • Demonstrated ability to plan, execute, control, and close projects while managing multiple components with minimal supervision • Extensive experience managing large-scale core banking transformations • Expertise in overseeing the complete project lifecycle with teams ranging from 25 to 50 members • Proficient in project management methodologies such as AGILE or PRINCE2 for medium to large-sized projects • Strong skills in developing and maintaining project and program plans, including risk management, action tracking, issue resolution, and dependency mapping • Highly efficient in resource planning and task assignment • Knowledgeable in benefits realization, dependency mapping, and resource planning • Ability to manage diverse, offshore, and outsourced teams • Ability to work within SLA, schedule, budget, and scope parameters • Understanding of compliance and risk implications • English-language job posting; no explicit language requirement stated
