• Perform firmware updates and lifecycle management for server hardware • Troubleshoot hardware and infrastructure-related issues (servers, components, connectivity) • Support provisioning and decommissioning of bare metal servers • Work with out-of-band management interfaces (IPMI / iDRAC / iLO or similar) • Apply and maintain hardware configuration standards and profiles • Participate in incident response and root cause analysis • Contribute to development of operational processes and documentation (SOPs) • Collaborate with infrastructure, network and devops teams • Participate in evaluation and selection of hardware configurations (CPU, RAM, storage, components) • Contribute to infrastructure scaling and hardware standardization • Participate in on-call rotations
• Hands-on experience with server hardware in production environments • Understanding of data center infrastructure fundamentals • Experience with hardware lifecycle management (firmware, components, replacements) • Familiarity with out-of-band management tools (IPMI / iDRAC / iLO or similar) • Strong troubleshooting skills • Experience in writing technical documentation or operational procedures • Willingness to participate in on-call rotations • Understanding of server hardware configurations and component selection • Experience or interest in contributing to infrastructure design and scaling decisions • Basic understanding of networking fundamentals (L2/L3) • Nice to have: Experience working with large-scale environments (500+ servers) • Nice to have: Experience with OpenStack environments • Nice to have: Experience with CMDB / DCIM tools (e.g. Snipe-It, NetBox, Device42, etc) • Nice to have: Experience with automation (scripts, APIs) • Nice to have: Experience working with different hardware vendors (Dell, HPE, Supermicro or similar)
