📋 Description

• Conduct in-house and virtual product training for field support personnel and other technical positions in the Surgical Robotics organization, mainly for HUGO RAS and Sentire • Obtain subject-matter-expert information to prepare training materials and develop course content • Determine training methodology and coordinate development of training aids • Present complex concepts clearly and concisely to technical audiences • Facilitate group work and tasks • Monitor and communicate training program effectiveness to broader teams • Provide product technical support for global field service escalations • Support spare-parts provisioning and development of field-replaceable-unit strategy with the Robotic Assisted Surgery operations team and Principal Technical Service Lead • Plan, develop, and coordinate technical training programs for the Surgical Robotics portfolio • Maintain communication with field support personnel and team leads to ensure training effectiveness • Drive field-service escalation management for installed systems • Provide escalation support, including potential travel to sites for system repair, validation, and data gathering • Provide timely and accurate follow-up to the broader Services team for call closure and escalation follow-up • Travel up to 50% to Hugo/Sentire training centers within EMEA, primarily Munich and Strasbourg

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with 4+ years of relevant field support, training/education, clinical, or engineering experience, or advanced degree with 2 years of experience • Familiarity with commonly used field test equipment, including power supplies, DVMs, signal generators, and flow meters • Ability to read and understand schematics and engineering drawings and diagrams • Demonstrable skills in Microsoft Office products and ERP and CRM software packages such as SAP, ServiceMax, and Salesforce.com • Excellent analytical and communication skills, including ability to communicate complex technical issues clearly to a global audience • Responsible problem solving and action orientation in resolving field escalation issues and meeting customer requirements • Training/education experience in the medical device industry or another regulated industry is desirable • Curriculum development experience and experience with digital training/e-learning platforms is a plus
