📋 Description

• Design and build backend architecture for AI-powered automation systems • Integrate and scale LLM-based product features with AI engineers and product teams • Implement and evolve agent-based systems, including ReAct and supervisor-agent models • Optimize RAG pipelines and context enrichment using structured and unstructured data • Develop robust APIs for internal services and external integrations • Ensure observability, monitoring, and alerting using tools such as Grafana and OpenSearch • Participate in code reviews and architecture discussions • Maintain high-quality technical documentation for newly designed systems and APIs • Collaborate with AI engineers, product teams, and cross-functional stakeholders • Build production-grade systems automating clinical and operational workflows

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years of commercial backend development with Node.js in product companies, preferably SaaS • Deep understanding of complex backend systems end-to-end • Experience designing backend architectures and technical solutions • Experience with system decomposition, scalability trade-offs, long-term maintainability, and technology choices • Track record building scalable, high-performance backend systems and robust APIs • Understanding of data flows, failure modes, and performance bottlenecks • Hands-on experience integrating LLMs into production systems • Experience designing and implementing multi-agent AI workflows in production • Practical experience with modern AI frameworks • Experience designing and optimizing RAG pipelines, including embeddings, vector databases, retrieval strategies, ranking, chunking, and quality-versus-latency trade-offs • Strong prompt engineering skills, including structured outputs, schema validation, evaluation-based iteration, and reliability techniques • Understanding of LLM infrastructure in production, tracing, observability, evaluation frameworks, quality metrics, safety mechanisms, guardrails, and performance/cost optimization • Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL and AWS, including CDK, Lambda, API Gateway, and ElastiCache • Good understanding of observability and debugging, including Grafana and OpenSearch or similar • Testing, CI/CD, reliability, and technical ownership • Product-oriented mindset • Proactive AI enthusiast mindset • Fluent Russian • English B2+ • Experience with medical/healthcare AI or regulated environments is a plus • Experience with MCP in Node.js is a plus
