📋 Description

• Build and maintain the design foundation across the division, including the design system, cross-tribe agents and skills, research and discovery engines, design architecture, guidelines, and standards • Define the multi-year design vision and drive its implementation • Build AI-powered agents, skills, and tooling that encode design judgment into reusable systems • Work with Staff Designers so tribe-level design substrates form a coherent whole • Partner with the VP on complex cross-tribe design problems • Contribute craft feedback and calibration input to Director and Staff Designer performance reviews

🎯 Requirements

• A body of shipped, high-quality design work and demonstrable taste • Senior-level credibility across multiple tribes • Multi-year thinking and ability to encode it into systems and agents • Genuine satisfaction in cross-tribe substrate work • AI Fluency Level 4 or equivalent • Experience building AI-powered products or systems • Understanding of AI components sufficient to make architectural decisions • Shipped something where AI is a core part of its functionality • Ability to operate as a multiplier for a VP without formal authority • Experience maintaining a design system used across multiple product teams at significant scale (nice to have) • Familiarity with agentic design tooling or building AI skills and research engines (nice to have)
