📋 Description

• Design, deploy, and debug sophisticated agentic AI workflows with multi-step reasoning, memory integration, MCP, and multi-agent frameworks • Architect and refine retrieval-augmented generation systems, optimizing chunking, retrieval design, and end-to-end evaluation • Deploy and operate LLM-based services in production while managing latency, throughput, and cloud costs • Implement traditional machine learning models for tabular or structured data, including classification, regression, ranking, or NLP • Write clean, idiomatic, production-quality Python integrated with data and software engineering ecosystems • Query, manipulate, and pipe structured data at scale using complex SQL • Participate in team rituals and maintain technical documentation • Champion shared learning and graceful systems degradation • Own outcomes related to scalable, secure, and performant risk and fraud systems on the Tiko platform

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as an ML Engineer, Data Scientist, AI Engineer, or Software Developer • Clear history of shipping code to production • Outstanding proficiency in Python • Deep experience working with large-scale structured data using SQL • Practical experience building and serving live LLM-based or agentic systems for real users • Solid grounding in traditional machine learning, with depth in tabular ML, NLP, or deep learning • Strong verbal and written English communication skills • Direct experience in Risk, Fraud, Credit, Insurance, Cybersecurity, or Fintech ecosystems is a bonus • Experience with GenAI observability, drift detection, and evaluation frameworks is a bonus • Hands-on mastery of AWS environments and MLOps automation is a bonus • Experience mentoring juniors or contributing through technical blogging or public speaking is a bonus
